What is Forest School?

We know that spending time in nature provides a positive and meaningful impact on our physical and mental health. Forest School is a participant led, long term process within a woodland setting that encourages the holistic development of key social skills including, cognitive and motor skills, social understanding and relationships, language, and communication, as well as building resilience and self-esteem. Meaningful impacts that will last a lifetime!

What happens at Forest School sessions?

Forest school is participant led, and so free play is the main emphasis within each session, however there will always be a loose theme to our learning, and a number of ‘play invitations’ around the site for children to engage with, these include, a mud kitchen, hammocks, rope ladders, as well as craft activities such as clay, natural dyes and paints, and other multisensory aids.

This Tickets is for Friday sessions for the following dates,  - 6th January, 13th January, 20th January, 27th January, 3rd February and 10th February.
